Frequently Asked Questions

Can I DIY Electrical Repairs?

It’s not uncommon for homeowners to immediately spot an electrical issue. Any good handyman will tell you that they can fix it themselves without a problem. Unfortunately, there is a problem. Handymen are not qualified to handle electrical work. Electricians have to undergo years of extensive training and certification processes to obtain his or her license. Sure, a license may seem like a piece of paper, but that paper is something that can save your life.

Why Do My Lights Flicker?

Have you noticed that all or some of your lights have been flickering? In most cases, it can be a faulty light bulb, but in other cases it can mean something more serious—and potentially dangerous. If changing the light bulb doesn't resolve the issue, please contact a licensed electrician. It doesn't have to be us, but please be safe and don't try to resolve this yourself!

Is It Possible To Have Too Many Extension Cords Or Power Strips Plugged Into The Same Outlet?

Yes! It is recommended that you only use 1 power strip per outlet and that you do not plug an extension cord into a power strip. It is very easy to overload a circuit. This could cause the breaker to be overloaded and in the worse case scenario, it could cause a fire. We recommend that you have increased needs for outlets in a specific area in your home then have an electrician take a look at the situation and install additional outlets.
